World Championship Obedience 2022

We are proud to announce that the World Championship in Obedience 2022 is going to be in Denmark, more precisely at the National Equestrian Centre Vilhelmsborg near Aarhus, Jutland.

The World Championship in Obedience 2022 is going to be held on the 22-26 of June 2022. Here the most talented teams from all over the world will duel in precision and speed.

Venue: Vilhelmsborg, Bedervej 101, 8320 Mårslet. Denmark.

Every country may compete with one team. The competition will be judged by four judges from Denmark, Norway, Holland, and France. Chief judge is Palle Bergsø from Denmark.

The competition will be held indoors in a riding arena on fiber sand, in addition, another riding arena has been booked for warming up and training the dogs. The competition is conducted and judged according to FCI's rules for International Obedience Class (FCI3).

Only dogs registered in FCI approved Kennel Clubs can participate. The right to represent a country is regulated by the FCI. Bitches in heat may participate according to the rules of the FCI, i.e., last.

Training:

Team training will be in the outdoors stadium. The stadium will be divided into four sections. Each country gets 1 hour of training in a section, starting order: alphabetical. The team training will be supervised by officials.

Vaccinations, health requirements and doping:

All dogs must be vaccinated from canine distemper, parvovirus, and rabies. Further information: www.dkk.dk/english/health-breeding/health/doping and General rules for shows and trials in Denmark

Veterinary:

The vet inspection is obligatory for all dogs participating at the WCO on Wednesday 22nd of June. The other days a vet will be on call. The vet will also be on site on Sunday for deworming.

Trade stands:

Two of our sponsors Dalum Dyrehandel and Dogscraft have trade stands, and they do accept euros.

Café:

Café Vilhelmsborg is open during the entire event. Here you can buy coffee, tea, soft drinks, lunch, and dinner. The cafeteria accepts euros.

Camping:
