Regions and breed clubs

There are 12 regions and 73 breed clubs in DKK.

What is a DKK region?

We have divided Denmark into 12 regions and the members of DKK automatically fall under the region in which their household is registered. The regions are managed by a regional board that start up and/or runs local DKK-activities. These could e.g. be all kinds of training, arranging of unofficial shows, competitions, shows and much more.

What is a breed club?

A breed club is an organisation that in collaboration with DKK withholds one or several breeds' interests. All breeds recognised by FCI belongs in a breed club. Some breed clubs only include one breed, such as the Danish Newfoundland club, while breed clubs include many breeds, e.g. the Danish Toy Breed Club (KSS).
