In the Danish Kennel Club, we cannot even begin to imagine how difficult it must have been to flee your home country and then having to find foothold in a strange country.

Therefore, we are happy that you have brought your four-legged best friend with you to Denmark. Being a dog owner is a lifestyle and the dog enriches its humans with companionship, joy and security. It helps us remember to stay in the present. It gives us love and the opportunity to show care.

As dog owners, we understand each other – without necessarily speaking the same language. Along with our collaborators, Royal Canin, Agria Animal Insurance and Proftag, we in the Danish Kennel Club want to help you and your dog to feel welcome, comfortable, and safe. Therefore, we would like to offer a ”Doggy Care Package”, which with just a few clicks can ease you and your dog’s beginning in this country.

CONTENT OF THE DOGGY CARE

  • Dog food from Royal Canin adapted to your dog’s breed and age
  • First Aid kit from Agria Animal Insurance
  • Compulsory dog tag from Proftag
  • Information about the compulsory liability insurance for your dog

The Danish Kennel Club and our collaborators stands for all the expenses.

LET’S TAKE CARE OF EACH OTHER

We really want to help dogs and people on the run from Ukraine. At the same time, we want to secure that no Danish dogs or people get sick from the deadly rabies virus.
Therefore, it is required that 1) your dog gets registered with the Danish authorities and 2) your dog gets/has a Danish ID/chip number, before you can order your Doggy Care Package

HOW TO ORDER THE DOGGY CARE PACKAGE

If you wish to order the Doggy Care Package, you merely have to send an email to the Danish Kennel Club with the following information about you and your dog:

DO YOU HAVE MORE THAN ONE DOG?

If you have more than one dog, you are welcome to order a Doggy Care Package for them each. To ease the handling, we ask you to send individual emails for each dog with the required information.

IF THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOUR DOG NEEDS?

The members of the Danish Kennel Club have donated a long line of different kinds of equipment, including dog beds, crates, blankets, collars, leashes, toys, food and treats. If there is any specific equipment you need for your dog, feel free to write it to us. We cannot promise to fulfil all your wishes, but we will do our utmost.

WE TAKE GOOD CARE OF YOUR INFORMATION
You can feel perfectly safe when sending your personal information to the Danish Kennel Club. All information kept by the Danish Kennel Club is confidential according to law of financial business and will handle your personal information confidentially. The confidentiality is also current amongst our employees.

We only collect and use the information that are strictly necessary; your postal address is necessary for us to send the doggy care package. Your address, phone number and your dog’s name is to be put on the dog tag and the information about the dog makes it possible for us to adapt the dog food exactly to the individual dog’s age, size and etc.

By sending us the necessary information, you thereby give us permission to forward your information to our collaborators: Royal Canin, Agria Animal Insurance and Proftag.

If you do not wish to send us the information in questions, then it is not possible for us to send you the doggy care package unfortunately.
